Copyright And Licence Statement
1. Copyright and Licensing Policy
Articles published in the International Journal of Advanced Science Computing and Engineering (IJASCE) are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0), unless otherwise specifically indicated for particular third-party material.
Authors retain copyright in their published articles. Copyright is not transferred to IJASCE as a condition of publication.
The applicable copyright and licensing information should be displayed on the published article, including its HTML and PDF versions, in a form such as:
© [Year] The Author(s). Licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).
The complete license terms are available at: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/.
2. License to Publish
By agreeing to publication in IJASCE, the author grants IJASCE a non-exclusive license to publish the accepted article and to identify IJASCE as the original publisher of the Version of Record.
This non-exclusive publishing license permits IJASCE to:
-
publish the article in electronic and other appropriate formats;
-
produce and distribute the Version of Record;
-
assign and register persistent identifiers and associated publication metadata;
-
disseminate and make the article openly accessible through the journal website and appropriate scholarly services;
-
deposit or transmit article metadata and, where appropriate, article content to indexing, discovery, preservation, repository, and scholarly infrastructure services;
-
preserve the scholarly record and maintain access to published content; and
-
make reasonable technical, formatting, and production modifications that do not alter the scholarly meaning of the article.
The license granted to IJASCE is non-exclusive. Authors retain copyright and may exercise their rights subject to the Creative Commons license and any applicable third-party rights.
3. Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 License
Under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license, users may:
-
Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format; and
-
Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial purposes.
These permissions are subject to the conditions of the CC BY-SA 4.0 license. Users must:
-
give appropriate credit to the author or authors;
-
provide a link to the applicable Creative Commons license;
-
indicate whether changes were made;
-
not imply endorsement by the authors or IJASCE; and
-
distribute adaptations under the same license or another license permitted under the CC BY-SA 4.0 terms.
Users may not impose additional legal or technological restrictions that prevent others from exercising rights granted by the CC BY-SA 4.0 license.
4. Author Warranties and Responsibilities
By agreeing to publication, the author represents, to the best of their knowledge, that:
-
the manuscript is original and accurately represents the work reported;
-
all listed authors satisfy the journal's applicable authorship requirements;
-
the manuscript is not simultaneously under consideration by another journal;
-
previously published or publicly available material relevant to the submission has been appropriately disclosed and cited;
-
the article does not knowingly contain unlawful, defamatory, fabricated, falsified, plagiarized, or otherwise inappropriate material;
-
the authors have the rights necessary to grant IJASCE the non-exclusive publishing license described in this policy;
-
third-party copyrighted material has been appropriately acknowledged and permission has been obtained when required;
-
data, images, figures, tables, software, code, and other material included in the article comply with applicable copyright, licensing, ethical, and attribution requirements; and
-
all applicable conflicts of interest, funding, ethical approval, consent, data availability, and AI-use disclosures have been provided accurately.
5. Rights Retained by Authors
Because authors retain copyright, they retain the right, subject to applicable licenses and third-party rights, to:
-
reuse their article in subsequent scholarly works, books, teaching materials, presentations, and other works;
-
share and distribute their article in accordance with the CC BY-SA 4.0 license;
-
deposit permitted versions of their manuscript or the Version of Record in personal, institutional, subject, or other appropriate repositories in accordance with the IJASCE Repository and Self-Archiving Policy;
-
use the ideas, data, methods, and other intellectual contributions contained in their work, subject to applicable ethical, copyright, confidentiality, and third-party restrictions; and
-
receive appropriate attribution as the author or authors of the work.
6. Co-Authored Works
For manuscripts with multiple authors, the corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all co-authors have approved the submitted manuscript, agreed to its publication, and are aware of the copyright and licensing terms applicable to the article.
Where the journal requires formal acceptance of the License to Publish, the corresponding author must have appropriate authorization from the co-authors to complete that process on their behalf or each author must provide agreement where required by the journal's editorial system.
7. Third-Party Material
The CC BY-SA 4.0 license applies only to material for which the authors or IJASCE have the authority to apply that license. Third-party material included in an article may be subject to different copyright or licensing conditions.
Material that is not covered by the article's CC BY-SA 4.0 license should be clearly identified through an appropriate credit line or other notice. Users who wish to reuse such material are responsible for determining whether permission is required from the relevant copyright holder.
8. Editorial and Production Rights
IJASCE may perform reasonable copyediting, language editing, typesetting, formatting, metadata preparation, and other production processes necessary to prepare an accepted manuscript for publication. Such changes must not alter the authors' substantive scholarly arguments, findings, conclusions, or intellectual meaning without appropriate author involvement.
Publication remains subject to successful completion of the journal's editorial, ethical, and production processes. Acceptance of a manuscript does not limit the journal's responsibility to address integrity concerns identified before or after publication in accordance with IJASCE policies and relevant COPE guidance.
9. Royalties and Publication Fees
Publication under IJASCE's diamond open access model does not entitle authors to royalties or other payments from IJASCE for publication or reuse that is permitted under the applicable Creative Commons license.
IJASCE does not charge authors article processing charges, submission fees, peer review fees, page charges, or publication fees. Further information is available in the journal's Author Fees Policy.
10. Continuing Effect of the Creative Commons License
The Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License is intended to provide continuing permissions to users who comply with its terms. Once an article has been validly published under CC BY-SA 4.0, the Creative Commons license applicable to that published version cannot simply be withdrawn from compliant users.
Any subsequent correction, retraction, withdrawal notice, or other post-publication action does not erase the historical scholarly record. IJASCE will clearly identify the status of affected content and link applicable notices to the published article in accordance with its Post-Publication Discussion and Corrections Policy.

12. Review and Updates
This policy was reviewed in September 2026. IJASCE will review the policy periodically to maintain consistency with its open access, copyright, repository, publication ethics, and licensing practices and with relevant COPE guidance.
