Author Guidelines

1. Submission Overview

IJASCE accepts original, high-quality research articles that demonstrate the application of computing and engineering methods to solve real-world problems. All submissions must be written in clear, professional English, adhere to the journal’s scope, and be unpublished and not under consideration elsewhere. IJASCE follows a double-blind peer review process.

2. Article Types Accepted

  • Original Research Articles
  • Applied Studies
  • Comparative Analyses
  • Simulation and Modeling Studies

Note: Review articles, short communications, case studies, or opinion pieces are not accepted at this time.

3. Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts must follow the IMRAD format (Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion) and include the following sections:

  • Title: Concise and informative, without unnecessary abbreviations.
  • Abstract (150–250 words): Clearly summarize purpose, methodology, findings, and conclusions.
  • Keywords (3–6): Separated by semicolons.
  • Introduction: Context, research gap, and objectives.
  • Related Works: Critical review of past studies and how the current work is distinct.
  • Methods: Dataset, experimental setup, tools, and methodology used.
  • Results: Tables, figures, and findings with proper references.
  • Discussion: Interpretation of results, significance, limitations.
  • Conclusion: Summary of findings and potential impact or future work.
  • Acknowledgments (optional)
  • References: IEEE style preferred, 20+ references with at least 30% from the past 5 years.

4. Formatting and Template

All manuscripts must follow the official IJASCE article template. Download the template: [Template Download Link]

  • A4, single-column layout
  • Times New Roman, 10–11 pt
  • Figures/tables centered, numbered, and captioned
  • Equations must be editable and numbered

5. Plagiarism and Originality

All submissions will be screened using plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts must contain less than 15% similarity (excluding references). Any detected plagiarism or self-plagiarism will result in immediate rejection.

6. Use of AI Tools

Authors may use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini) only for language polishing. AI must not be used to generate content, data, or code. Misuse will lead to desk rejection.

7. Submission Process

Submit manuscripts through our Online Submission System. Required documents:

  • Manuscript in .doc or .docx format using the template
  • Cover letter describing novelty and originality
  • Optional: 2 suggested reviewers with institutional emails

8. Peer Review and Decision

All manuscripts are reviewed under a double-blind peer review system. Review decisions include Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject. Revisions should be submitted within 14–21 days with a point-by-point response to reviewer comments.

9. Article Processing Charge (APC)

IJASCE does not charge any APCs. All articles are published free of charge under open access.

10. Publication Ethics

IJASCE adheres to COPE’s Core Practices. Authors must ensure:

  • Ethical approval (if applicable)
  • Proper citation and acknowledgment
  • No ghost/gift authorship
  • No simultaneous submission
